Even if your dream of playing pro football didn’t quite pan out, you can still make a living working in professional football.

The NFL is hiring for dozens of seasonal and full-time jobs, even at the entry level. Most of these positions are located at the league headquarters in New York City or the media office in Culver City, California, but your local NFL franchise is likely hiring as well.

If you want to be immersed in the gridiron 24/7, here’s where to look for open positions, including these NFL jobs. The positions don’t list closing dates, so if you’re interested, apply as soon as possible!

1. Seasonal Researcher

If you love delving into football stats, this temporary position in Culver City, California could be just what you’re looking for. The NFL is looking for someone with “expert level recall of current and historical statistics, news, events and milestones.”

You’d be working to find, collect and analyze information for the NFL Media Group, including the NFL Network and NFL.com. Your work would involve ensuring graphics, scripts and articles include correct stats and information, as well as working with on-air talent to make sure everyone is up to speed on topics and details.

You’ll need to be detail-oriented, great with data, knowledgeable about sports and passionate about football. The position requires strong communication and writing skills, a college degree and a major commitment to accuracy. Expect to work whenever games are scheduled, including weekends, nights and holidays.

2. Seasonal Fantasy Researcher

Are you on a dozen fantasy football teams? Do you start planning your next fantasy team the day after the SuperBowl? If so, try working in the world of fantasy football with this seasonal NFL job located in Culver City, California. This gig will have you analyzing and compiling fantasy data and using it to support the NFL Media Group, including NFL Network and NFL.com.

They’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and three to five years of experience. You must know a lot about fantasy football and will be responsible for making sure editorial content, graphics and scripts are accurate, in addition to providing real-time updates and notes for anchors.

You’ll need great communication skills, since you’ll have to break down complex information into simple and easy to understand formats. As with any data-focused position, accuracy is key. Since this job has an NFL schedule, nights, weekends and holidays are mandatory.

3. Director of Product, Fantasy and Mobile Games

If football and gaming are your two greatest passions, this job is for you. This full-time position is located in Culver City and requires at least seven years of experience plus a related college degree.

The principal duty of this position is “leading the overall NFL Gaming strategy across fantasy football, casual fantasy games and mobile games.” In this role, you’ll develop and lead the product roadmap, focus on providing the best gaming experiences possible for fans.

The NFL wants data-driven and highly analytical candidates who have a deep understanding of gaming and web technology. To do this job well, you’ll need technical know-how, since working with the developers and conducting quality assurance are also parts of your job. And don’t forget the communication skills, since you’ll also have to manage relationships and stay on top of industry trends.

4. Director of Digital Forensics

If you love a good “Whodunnit” story and have at least 10 years of legal experience, combine your love of football and the law with this position. The job is located in New York City, but it requires up to 50% travel to conduct on-site investigations.

The Director of Digital Forensics will work in the NFL’s Security Department and investigate “alleged impropriety or criminal conduct by League and Club personnel” focusing on investigations and evidence related to digital technology, including computers, mobile devices and social media. This will include data recovery and analytics as well as finding and restoring regular and encrypted files.

Candidates should have a college degree as well as certification and training in digital forensic examinations. A background in civil and criminal judicial proceedings is important, as is experience with a variety of criminal investigations, including those involving violence, finance, gambling, weapons, and drug and alcohol offenses.

5. Manager, Hispanic Fan Strategy and Marketing

Got a background in multicultural marketing? Fluent in Spanish? Apply for this full-time position based in New York City. The NFL is looking for someone to help them find and connect with Hispanic fans. Your duties will include developing marketing strategy and increasing engagement of Hispanic fans.

You’ll need to be an experienced marketing professional with at least five years of experience and a bachelor’s degree. You must be familiar with branding and working with media partners, and comfortable working on diverse projects.

You may not be getting paid to play football, but working for the NFL could be a fun way to earn a paycheck while immersed in a sport you love.
